These terms apply when you buy and use the DPDPA Toolkit by Cynor Sense (the “toolkit”), sold on www.cynorsense.com as the online program “DPDPA Compliance Toolkit” and described on dpdpa.support. The seller is CynorSense Solutions Private Limited (“Cynor Sense”, “we”, “us”), 8-2-332/1/B, MBS Plaza, 5th Floor, Road No. 3, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana, India – 500034. By completing a purchase you agree to these terms. Please read them with our Refunds and cancellations policy, our Delivery policy and our Privacy notice.
1. What you get
- Digital access to the toolkit: editable Microsoft Word and Excel documents, and walkthrough videos, as described on the product page when you buy.
- When your payment is confirmed we email you, at the address you gave at checkout, the steps to get into the members-only online program on www.cynorsense.com, where the toolkit’s Word and Excel files and the walkthrough videos are. We invite that email address to the program and, if it has no member account on www.cynorsense.com, create one for it. Wix then emails you a link to set your password (check your spam folder; if the link has expired, use “Forgot password” on the login page). You need that account to use the program.
- You can use the program for as long as Cynor Sense offers the toolkit. If we decide to stop offering it, we will tell you at least 12 months before your access ends. Files you download before then remain yours to use under the licence in section 3.
- Nothing physical is shipped. See the Delivery policy.
2. Price and payment
- The price is ₹29,999 incl. GST before 14 November 2026 and ₹65,000 incl. GST from 14 November 2026 (India time).
- To get a GST invoice, email us your billing name, address and GSTIN.
- You pay the price shown at checkout when you pay. It is a one-time payment. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.
- Payment is made on the Razorpay payment page that the Buy buttons on dpdpa.support and our social media link to. Razorpay Software Private Limited processes it. Cynor Sense does not receive or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- If you want a GST invoice in your organisation’s name, email us its correct billing name, address and GSTIN promptly after purchase.
3. Your licence to use the toolkit
The toolkit is licensed to you, not sold. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:
- use, copy and adapt the documents for your own organisation’s compliance work — the organisation named on your invoice, or you if you buy as an individual; and
- publish or share the documents you complete for your organisation as part of that work — for example, putting your privacy notice on your website or sending your data processing agreement to a vendor.
You may not:
- sell, resell, sublicense, share or give away the toolkit, its blank or partly completed templates, or the videos, or publish them as templates;
- copy, download (except where the program provides a download), record or redistribute the walkthrough videos; or
- share your account login with anyone, or give anyone outside your organisation access to the program.
4. No legal advice
The toolkit helps you prepare your own compliance documents under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025. The toolkit does not give legal advice, and buying it does not create a lawyer–client relationship. The documents reflect the published text of the Act and the Rules on the date shown in them; the law, official guidance and their interpretation can change after that date. You decide how the documents apply to your organisation. Have a qualified lawyer review the completed documents before you rely on them.
5. Ownership
CynorSense Solutions Private Limited owns the copyright and other intellectual property in the toolkit, its documents, videos and branding. These terms do not transfer that ownership to you. The information you add to the documents is yours.
6. Your account
Keep your login details secure. Tell us at dpdpa@cynorsense.com if you think someone else has used your account. If you cannot get into the program, write to us and we will work with you to restore your access.
7. Refunds and cancellation
There are no refunds for the toolkit, because it is delivered digitally and your invitation is sent right after payment. If you are charged more than once or the wrong amount, we return the extra or wrong charge; if you cannot get into the program or a file does not open, we fix it. Because there is no subscription, there is nothing to cancel later. The details are in the Refunds and cancellations policy.
8. Our responsibility to you
- Except as set out in the next two points, because the toolkit is a drafting aid, we are not responsible for whether your organisation complies with the Act or the Rules, or for any penalty, order or direction issued to your organisation.
- Our total liability to you in connection with the toolkit is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the loss results from our fraud or wilful misconduct, or from the toolkit not matching its description.
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability or right that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of India, including your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
9. Nominating someone to act on your behalf
You can nominate one or more individuals to exercise your rights over your personal data if you die or become unable to exercise them. Email dpdpa@cynorsense.com from the email address on your account or the one you gave at checkout, with each nominee’s full name, email address and relationship to you. You can change or cancel a nomination the same way. See “Your rights and how to use them” in the Privacy notice.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force when you paid applies to that purchase. The date at the top shows when these terms last changed.
11. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the next sentence, the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you buy as a consumer, this does not take away your right to approach the consumer forum that the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 makes available to you.
